So I've been super inactive here, sort of debating on and off whether I want to delete this account or not, and obviously I have not done that yet. I think after I got that Daily Deviation I sort of felt like I "won" dA and there wasn't much point to continue posting? Whatever.
In any case, quick life update, I'm in my third year of college now and have switched to Graphic Design from engineering. I'm about to transfer schools, and everything is great and stuff.
I'm just kinda posting a whole bunch of art from classes and whatnot right now, so enjoy!

Portrait Commissions!

Hey everyone! I really love doing graphite pencil portraits, and I'm tight on cash right now, so I figured it would be fun to offer portrait commissions to anyone who's interested.

Subject matter:
As long as you can supply a reference photo, I will draw:
- You
- Your kids
- Your parents
- Your friends
- Your favorite actors/characters
- Your bedroom
- You, naked in your bedroom
- That weirdo you snagged a pic of with your phone last weekend
- Any and all people ever in whatever state they may be in
I will not draw:
- Animated characters
- OCs
- Animals
- Anything you do not have a reference for
Price ranges:
$20-$30 for head shots, including down to shoulders (add $5 for each additional person in the picture)
$30-$40 for bust views, including down to arms and waist (add $10 for each additional person in the picture)
$50- and up for full body / detailed background pictures (add $15 for each additional person in the picture)

• Everything will be drawn on high quality paper in graphite pencil.
• I will take orders on a first come first serve basis. I will try to get orders done within the week, but as a college student, I can't guarantee anything.
• I will deliver all drawings as digital files to your email, and I will also mail you the original drawing at request. (Add $2 for shipping, US only)
• I'll only be accepting payments via Paypal.

I popped onto dA tonight, just to check on things, and my first thought was that there was an error with the inbox. I clicked on my messages, just to make sure, and to my complete and utter shock, the number of messages had read correctly.

I have been freaking out for a several hours now, going through the crazy number of comments and faves (I love every single one of you), and I am so far beyond honored, I don't know what this emotion is. All I can say is, thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone! All of the positive messages are so heartwarming, I'm absolutely delighted!

Next Phase

I've entered a new phase in my art. I'm taking a bit of a break from found poetry, and I'm moving more into a multimedia sort of thing, with pen, paint, and cut paper primarily. I got two new moleskines in different sizes over break, and I've been ridiculously productive art-wise these past few weeks. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner of my own, and I'm trying to avoid borrowing my friends' too much, so uploads are slow.
Other than that, everything is college-y and awesome. Next time I get my hands on a scanner, there will be plenty of new art!

So, I haven't updated in forever because I'm a lazy muthuh fuckuh, but let me tell you, shit has been happening.
» COLLEGGGEEE
I started college this year. I'm eight hour from home, so I miss my friends like mad, but this place is AWESOME. It's like summer camp x 4352969345, I am having a blast.
I'm an engineering major, in the engineering dorm, and holy shit these kids are awesome. Firstly, engineers, and secondly, my entire floor is best friends. Just the other night, we were ALL hanging out in the hallway, seeing how high we could walk up the walls, and whipping sweet tarts at each other, trying to catch them in our mouths. My RA is awesome too, his name is Sal (for Salvatore) and he hates all other nicknames. The challenge is to come up with one that he doesn't mind. So far, nothing has worked.
Last night, I stayed up until three watching Black Dynamite and Pulp Fiction with my new college friends. I hadn't seen either movie before, and HOLY SHIT, this was the way to watch them.
Basically, I love absolutely everything right now.

As for lack of art posts and shit, I hadn't done much at all over the summer (despite many plans). I'm working on more found poetry right now, since it's convenient and portable, but I'm also hoping to get my paints from home, too.
So, expect something soon.
