Just a thought.When you wear those tinted sunglasses
I can't tell if you're actually looking this way
Or out to the rest of the blurry world.
Because your eyes are always someone else's.

They're a black silk curtain that hangs between our hearts.
When the wind blows warm
it's pushed aside.
But when snow falls softly,
it freezes
and is irremovable.

I tried to dye it red once.
But the bleach had the same effect as when you used it on your gloves
and the blood only made it blacker.

A beautiful lyric from one of my favorite songs.
I've gotten really into handlettering lately, and this is the first finished piece of a bunch of stuff I'm working on.
It's also one of my first times using watercolor in a moleskine, a look that I really love. I'm delighted with how it came out, tell me what you think!

This is so beautiful and sad. I love the idea, and the soft colors, especially in the sky and ground. The whole picture is just filled with nostalgia. Great work!

Very neat. I had to look hard and didn't know what it said until I read your description. But I like art like that. Not simple enough to just look at and keep going, you make it more interesting
